Round Lifting Slings
Round slings are comprised of an outer layer of non-abrasive synthetic fibre, within which is housed a similarly constructed core that supplies plenty of strength without doing damage to any surface which comes in contact with it. For lifting objects which you do not want to mark or scuff in any way, this type of lifting sling is ideal.
Round slings in action
Round lifting slings can be used to handle heavy weights, with the structure preventing any unwanted stretching when under load. As well as working well in a standard straight lift context with a single anchor point in play, this type of sling can also be seen in a basket hitch configuration, creating a safer and more stable solution for irregular objects to be handled.
Angled lifting is also an option when using a round lifting sling, In all scenarios, these slings are designed to be durable and resistant to wear over time. Load capacities can start at as little as 500kg and top out at over 100 tonnes, depending on the sling type and the number used for a given application.
Safety with slings
Like most contemporary types of lifting sling, these round slings are colour coded to indicate the safe working load limit to users.
